Star Behavioral Health is a REMS certified Spravato (Esketamine) treatment center:  Patient suites allowing privacy and administration of medication given intranasally.  Spravato has FDA approval for Treatment-Resistant Depression and Acute Suicidal Ideation (since Mar 2019).

Treatment Resistant Depression is Defined as failure to have an adequate response to 2 separate SSRIs and 1 other antidepressant to qualify for Spravato.

Spravato referrals are accepted at this time, and the process for authorization usually takes about 2-3 weeks at a minimum from the referral date to completely process it with insurance and scheduling.  It may be faster depending on insurance response time.
